numerous of those wanting to get the new Samsung Galaxy S4 in the U.S. will have picked up the 16GB model, but if you have been waiting on the retail of the 32GB variant, you won’t have to be waiting for much longer. The 32GB Galaxy S4 will go on sale from Friday, may 10th in the states as an AT&T exclusive, and will set you back $249.99 on a two-year contract. much more details after the break.

Although the Galaxy S4’s microSD slot implies getting the smaller or large model isn’t as critical a decision as it would be on, say, the non-expandable HTC One, the fact that Samsung’s various bundled “S” apps, TouchWiz and other standard extras equate to around half of the 16GB storage capacity implies that numerous have held off the purchase  in purchase to get the 32GB version. Of course, a 32GB microSD card wouldn’t cost that much to buy, but because you can’t install apps on them, those in ownership of the 16GB Galaxy S4 only have around 8GB for apps; not masses if you’re a fan of high-end games, like me.

Considering the 32GB version is only $50 much more up-front than the 16GB capacity, it would seem a no-brainer to get the version with much more space in it. even if you don’t play any heavy games or run a ton of apps, it’s always better to have those extra GBs there just in case, and at the price, it’s a good investment, if you look at from the direction for the long run.

There will be a 64GB version at some point in the future, but I suspect those waiting for that will be sitting around for quite a while. The 32GB model is a good compromise in the meantime, but you will of course have to be on AT&T if you want to get your paws on it.

I’m looking forward to seeing whether this device manages to continue the immense popularity of the Galaxy S series, and although numerous have been critical of the seemingly few changes from the Galaxy S III, there’s no denying that, in the Android market at least, the Galaxy S4 is the one to beat.

Will you be grabbing the 32GB version on Friday?
