officially set to be released next year, we can’t help but get ecstatic whenever we hear little snippets of information relating to Grand Theft automobile V. The highly anticipated release in the GTA franchise has been under development for quite some time, but besides the few teasing screenshots, promotional images released by Rockstar Games, we haven’t really had a terrific deal to get our teeth into. GTA IV left a few hardcore fans feeling a little let down with the experience, but it certainly looks like Rockstar are back on top of their game with the current offering.

According to an eighteen page special expose in the December issue of GameInformer, GTA V will feature three main protagonists that feature heavily throughout the entire game as their lives and back stories become intertwined with one another. staying true to the consistent bouts of mild peril that we have become used to considering that the original GTA launched back in 1997, this most current creation will feature a disgruntled east coast gangster who moves to Los Santos trying to find redemption only to find nothing but temptation and unprecedented levels of trouble and strife.

In addition to the game actually featuring three main characters, it is also being said that the backdrop for all of the fast-paced action will be called Los Santos, and is Rockstar’s own fictional version of the stunning city of Los Angeles. gamers must be thrilled that Los Santos is the largest open environment that the game developers have ever created for a GTA game and will right away indicate a lot more room for missions, wonderful environments and a whole lot a lot more space to cause utter mayhem with fast automobiles and firearms.

Without giving to much away, GameInformer is also suggesting that the game will feature new and innovative ways to use and interact with the main characters of the game itself. one of the main worries that gamers had with the previous GTA release was that there was just too much to do in terms of interacting with other characters to build up the storyline, and that it detracted from the original soul of the franchise. I for one hope that GTA V falls back in line with the basic vision that was captured with the Vice City release rather than concentrating too much on character interaction.
